Films That Move Donors, Members, and Missions Forward.
We make documentary films for the moments that matter most to your organization. Galas, capital campaigns, member spotlights, anniversaries, advocacy stories. The kind of work people remember after the lights come up.
When you are asking donors for $50,000 gifts, presenting to your board, or making the case for a grant renewal, the way your story looks on screen carries weight. If your video looks like it was shot on a phone, you lose trust before the conversation starts. Our job is to close that gap. The story you tell on film should match the seriousness of the work you do every day.
WHAT WE MAKE
SPECIALIZED CAPABILITIES
Three ways we tell your story on film.
01.
Story Spotlight Films
Three to five minute branded films built for member spotlights, program highlights, year in review pieces, and annual report content. Designed to live on your website, in email, and across social channels. Engagements start at $9,500.
02.
Signature Documentary Films
Ten to fifteen minute documentary films for the moments that ask the most of you. Donor cultivation events, capital campaign launches, milestone anniversaries, and advocacy films that live well beyond the day they are released. Engagements typically begin at $24,000.
03.
Campaign Series
Three connected documentary pieces designed to work together as a coordinated arc. Useful for year-long campaigns, multi-touch advocacy efforts, and conference series with a pre-event, in-event, and post-event story. Engagements typically begin at $42,000.
Engagements range from $9,500 for focused branded films to $42,000 and up for multi-asset campaigns.
Why Choose Us
HOW WE WORK
Every project follows the same simple process. Three steps, no surprises.
01
Strategy
Before we point a camera at anything, we figure out what the film actually needs to do. Fill a gala room. Move a board to fund a multi-year initiative. Get members to renew at a higher tier. We work backwards from the outcome you need, then build the story around it.
02
Production
We shoot on professional cinema equipment with a small, focused crew. Interviews are real conversations, not scripts. B-roll is captured with intention. The footage you see in our films is the same level of craft you would see in any documentary worth watching.
03
Delivery
You get the film in the formats you actually need. A version for the gala screen. A version for LinkedIn. A version for email. A version for a donor meeting on an iPad. Everything edited, color graded, sound mixed, and ready to use.
CASE STUDY: THE FLEX FOUNDATION SUMMIT
The Flex Foundation came to us with a clear goal. They wanted to bring more visibility to their summit and to the broader work they are doing in the Prince George’s County community. They needed a film that could carry the work past the day of the event itself. We produced a documentary piece designed to introduce the foundation, the room, and the message to people who weren’t there.
The film became part of the foundation’s brand awareness work. It captures real moments from the day, built around the message the team wanted to put forward. This is the same approach we bring to every project we take on.
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Inside The View is led by Jay Williams, a director and cinematographer with more than a decade of camera experience and a professional background as a federal contractor. That dual background shapes how the studio approaches every engagement. Nonprofits and associations operate inside complicated environments. Boards, fiscal cycles, grants, donor relationships, regulatory considerations. We understand them. We also know how to make a film that makes a room go quiet at the right moment. Inside The View was built to do both. The studio is based in the Washington DC area and works with nonprofits and associations across the DMV and nationally.
SECURE YOUR FILM
We take on a limited number of films each quarter so every project gets the attention it deserves. If you have a campaign coming up, a gala on the calendar, an anniversary, or a story you have been meaning to tell properly, let’s talk.
